Janitorial Technician
Duties and Responsibilities

Adheres to standard operating procedures, including guidelines relating to the mixture of chemical solutions, use of equipment and the relocation of movable items, in order to maintain occupational safety and health requirements.

Packs equipment and supplies, assists with transporting, ensures equipment is cleaned/ sanitised as prescribed and reports any equipment performance issues, to permit the availability of resources for effectively conducting work assignments.

Cleans and sanitises assigned areas by consistently utilising approved cleaning systems and techniques; and providing feedback on additional service needs, to ensure the achievement of established service standards and/or specifications.

Reports accidents or environmental concerns that have the potential to negatively affect service standards, including non-compliance of standard operating procedures, property damage or equipment failure, so as to safeguard the interests of the organisation.

Maintains responsibility for equipment and supplies, through adherence to manufacturer to permit safe use of equipment and safety guidelines for maintaining the security of resources.

Removes waste from the work space and discards at the appointed disposal area, in accordance with safety guidelines and client specifications.

Provides support for the execution of projects being undertaken by other departments, as communicated in accordance with established labour practices and standard operating procedures.
Assistant Site Supervisor

Assist the Site Supervisor in coordinating and supervising Janitorial Technicians to ensure efficient and effective operations.

Monitor work schedules and staff performance to meet client requirements and company standards.

Participate in cleaning tasks, including vacuuming, mold remediation, and other janitorial services, as needed.

Conduct site inspections to ensure quality control and address any deficiencies promptly.

Oversee the proper use and maintenance of cleaning equipment and supplies.

Address client inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner.

Assist in maintaining strong client relationships through excellent service delivery.

Ensure all cleaning activities comply with health and safety regulations.

Train team members on proper cleaning techniques and safe equipment usage.
